Social Media Manager Position

Responsibilities:

• Attending live events every Tuesday at 7 p.m.; taking pictures/videos of both feature readers and open mic-ers for Instagram and writing captions

• Managing the Wix website and LinkedIn with news/updates and feature poets biographies provided by the Art Bar Director

• Posting event notifications to Facebook and Twitter with the Art Bar logo

• Driving traffic to the above various platforms

• General troubleshooting and responding to message inquiries received on the Wix website

• Exhibiting great communication skills required to be in touch by phone and email with the Art Bar team, for various approvals and to participate in occasional team meetings

 

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of social media platforms and web applications, including: Wix, Facebook Groups (as an Admin), LinkedIn Company Profiles, Instagram, Twitter, Gmail

• Excellent Time Management & Communication Skills

• Innovative & Creative; come up with ideas for driving traffic to Art Bar and following through, making fun captions for Instagram, sharing relevant posts over Twitter, etc

.• Eagerness in all that is poetry (an active member of the community preferred, but not required) and enthusiastic team player
